A stage production of great significance to Australian history and mythology.
The push has begun to raise over a quarter of a million dollars to stage this centenary commemoration of Remembrance Day, November 11th, 2018.
In just eighteen months, 1916 -1918, the Western Front claimed a staggering 52,000 Australian and 12,000 New Zealand lives, nearly half of ALL Australians who died in ALL wars including World War Two.
In comparison, the eleven month Gallipoli campaign resulted in 8,709 Australian and 2,779 New Zealand casualties, a grim moment in our history, enshrined in Australian mythology.
November 11, 1918.
At precisely 11 a.m. the guns went silent after over four years of continuous warfare.
In a moment, it was over. A moment too late for some.
